Roberta "BJ" Kolton
In 2002, Roberta (a.k.a. Bobbie Jo or BJ) graduated from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Photography, and returned to Sarasota to be closer to her family and the community in which she grew up.

Coming from a real estate family, it was only natural that she follow in her parents' footsteps, so in 2004 Roberta began working with her father in THE COMMERCIAL GROUP of Michael Saunders & Company. She is very excited to be part of the Kolton Team and is learning all she can from her father's 35 years of experience in the Industrial/Commercial Real Estate market.

Roberta still spends her spare time working on her photography and Photoshop skills and also enjoys playing with her dogs, Diesel, a Boxer and Dexter, a Boston Terrier. She is a member of the Sarasota Association of Realtors and sits on the board of the CID - Commercial Investment Division. In 2014, Roberta was voted as CID's Realtor of the Year.

Now retired, Bob moved to Sarasota, Florida in 1981 from St. Clair Shores, Michigan. For the past 24 years Bob worked at the THE COMMERCIAL GROUP of Michael Saunders & Company, where he was become a perennial member of the firm's exclusive "Circle Of Excellence", for achieving sales in excess of $10 million dollars.

After a long and successful career spanning over 40 years, Bob chose to retire in May of 2015 and spend more time at his hobby...car photography. But he has left his business in good hands, and is confident that his daughter Roberta can carry on his legacy in Industrial Real Estate.
